Do people change?

Ghandi said, "Be the change you wish to see." If you want to change the world, start with your own life

To get what you want, you must become what you want.

But can you make other people become what you want?

I think you can. And LOA would agree.

All you have to do is be the change you want to see in others...and resolve to ONLY see that in them too.

OK, I know - this is a challenging one

  • How do you ignore a bully?
  • Should you ignore social injustice?
  • Should you look away when people are getting hurt?

In an action oriented world, we are told that we enable "bad people" by not protesting, raising our voices en masse and staying silent

Who said anything about being silent? Your vibrational attitude speaks volumes

Of course, if you or someone else is in physical danger or in harms way, you must remove yourself or them from the situation.

But once removed, you must encourage yourself NOT to tell the story of the situation, but to focus on the situation you'd prefer:

  • If you want your boss to respect you, be respectful of everyone (especially your boss.)
  • If you'd like your children to fight less, tell them how cooperative they are and mean it
  • If you want to find your lover,  embody all the qualities you attribute to your perfect partner.

When you become what you are seeking, the world will mirror your vision back to you. Others around you will show only those traits to you.

Yes, you can by your vibrational attention, draw forth from others only the traits you want in others simply by seeing only those traits in them, and in yourself. If someone in your life doesnt match your vision, one of two things must happen:

  • they will match your vision of them when in your presence,
  • or they will easily and quietly disappear from your life.

This isnt a fairy tale; it's Law (of attraction)

Can you truly ignore away what you don't like about someone and "change them"?

What do you think?
