Hot Yoga Topics > Fixing Problems

I completely understand what Brittany is saying about trying to help solve problems that are not ours to solve. I find this challenging in my work and as a mother. It has taken me a long time to realize I can't "help" people see & do what may be best for them. Even when they come to me for help as a professional. "Fixing" was misunderstood by me.
I have really gone many steps past realizing/fixing since starting teacher training and I have worked on making myself happy. Wow! What a difference in how my loved ones are and other people I come in contact with. All by doing nothing for them, just for me. They are fine, good even. I'm glad to leave my "helpfulness" behind. What a relief!
