Hot Yoga Opens in Point Pleasant PA with Free Hot Yoga Classes!

Saturday and Sunday, December 5th and 6th, 2009, we had our Grand Opening free hot yoga Weekend, and it was hot! Our maximum capacity in the room is 20 people, and each of our 4 Free Classes averaged 13 sweaty yogis and yoginis. Afterwards, people felt everything from energized to exhausted...the kind of exhaustion that comes from a good workout. No wonder...every muscle and ligament, every joint and bone, every organ and cell in the room got the message: it's time to heal!

Thanks to everyone who opened Riverflow Yoga with a bang. Now talk to me...post your comments and questions about hot yoga here.

Hi Colleen...yes, if it's sweat you want, come and stand by our radiant heaters...seems that now we have a temperature-specific room to suit everyone. The Radiant side of our large room will have you sweating from the get-go; the standard heat on the other side, while still registering at 105-degrees, is for those who prefer a slightly "cooler" feeling heat. Come and check out which heat gets you cookin!

I was a dedicated gymnast and cheerleader for 8 years of my life. I was taught to stretch, pull and hyper-extend. After an injury I was forced to stop. Hot yoga is gentle, subtle and the benefits are greater than I ever imagined, and my dedication is fiercer then ever before. When people tell me I look great and ask, “What are you doing?” I say Ho-yo!
